Fall / Halloween Card Class - Yipee

Wow, it's almost October and not any cooler than a month ago! Do you know how hard that makes it for trying to create fall cards? Just think, Christmas cards are next - I sure hope we get a cold spell soon!

The pictures listed in this post are just a SNEAK PEEK of the Halloween and Fall cards we will be making at our next class. The Black Magic technique was used on the Rose card and we will be using a Foil technique on the "Thanksgiving Leaves" card. We will also be making our own backgrounds using a Brayer technique on the Fall and spooky, drippy goo-looking card. (How is that for a card description?) Hmmm, I think that's all the new techniques and everything else is just the same old inkin', stampin', and gluin'. Oh, the Haunted House card uses die cuts and its a really quick card to throw together. What these pictures don't show is just how sparkly some of the elements are --- silly camera!! The cards are so much more dazzling in real life.

Wednesday, October 8, 2008, class starts at 6:30 pm (should end approx. 8:30 pm). As usual, bring your basic kit and since we will be using markers and colored pencils if you have a set of your own, feel free to bring them to class as well. Cost: $2.00 per card (incl. envelope)
